Job summary

The Griffin's Food Company – Ashburton, South Island, is seeking a Part Time Merchandiser to ensure our snacks look great in store. This role involves visiting Woolworths Ashburton, New World Ashburton and nearby stores, with a guaranteed 3 hours per week and occasional extra hours.

Reporting to the Territory Manager, you will unload pallets, stock shelves, check prices, follow planograms, build displays, and build relationships with store teams.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience isn’t required but would be an extra tick.
• Own car and full driver's license to travel to shifts.
• Accountability, honesty and reliability.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Unloading pallets and restocking shelves (could involve lifting boxes up to 20kg and working at heights).
• Checking pricing and best before dates, rotating and moving stock as needed.
• Following plans/planograms to ensure all product is laid out as per guidelines.
• Building promotional displays.
• Creating strong working relationships in store.
• Providing feedback from a store level and sharing new ideas with your leader.

We’re looking foraPart Time Merchandiser working aguaranteed 3 hours per week(with the opportunity to pick up additional hours in a range of areas including sampling, relays, covering leave and peak season support)

Reporting to the Territory Manager, the successful candidates will be a brand ambassador in stores and will play a key role within our Sales team – ensuring that our much-loved products are looking amazing on shelf and are in easy reach, so our customers can purchase and enjoy their favourite snacks all year round!

Locations and hours: 3 hours (Woolworths Ashburton, New World Ashburton & Woolowrths South Ashburton)

• Sunday: 6pm-9:15pm (including travel time)

What you’ll be responsible for?

What you’ll bring to the role?

• Previous merchandising experience isn’t required but would be an extra tick!
• Your own car andfulldriver's license (that will allow you to legally drive at the times needed to get to/from your shifts)

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
