Job summary

The Doctors Medical Centres is seeking a Patient Experience Team Leader for The Doctors Te Whare Hapara in Gisborne. This permanent part-time role (24 hours/week, Mon–Fri) focuses on leading a reception team, ensuring high patient service standards, and fostering a positive clinic culture.

You will guide recruitment, support staff development, and contribute to a welcoming patient experience while leveraging your leadership and customer-service skills within NZ’s largest GP network.

Qualifications

• Experience in Management or administration work in a GP practice.
• Leadership skills/experience is desirable.
• Positive, honest, reliable and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Passionate about patient care and customer service.
