Job summary

The Doctors Total Health in Whakatāne invites applications for a dedicated GP to join a supportive team of nurses, GPs and admin staff. This is a permanent role with negotiable hours, ideally 24-32 hours per week, offering a balanced workload and opportunities to teach medical students and GP registrars.

Relocation from overseas is welcome, with NZ registration support available where eligible, to enjoy a rewarding practice life by the coast and local hospital proximity.

Job description

The Doctors Total Health - General Practitioner (GP)

• Able to support all levels of training and stages of career
• Ideally have skills in minor surgery. Other areas of special interest welcome
• Teaching practice. Option of teaching medical students and GP registrars
• Approachable team, supportive environment. regular clinic events/outings
• Purpose-built clinic, located 10mins away from Ohope Beach and 5mins from the hospital
• Based in beautiful Whakatane

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate GP to join our team. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses and GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.

This is a permanentposition with negotiable hours, preferably 24- 32 hours (6-8 sessions) per week.
