Qualifications

• Knowledge and practical experience working with music equipment, recording environments, and live performance settings.
• Experience with Mac computers, amplifiers, PA systems, recording equipment, and associated software.
• The ability to support and guide students and staff through technical expertise and supervision.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, along with a commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining music facilities, equipment, instruments, and resources to support teaching, learning, recording, and performance activities.
• Providing technical support, equipment setup, maintenance, repairs, and resource preparation for classes and events.
• Managing equipment and instrument inventories, including tracking loans, returns, and ordering requirements.
• Supporting staff and students through technical guidance, workshop supervision, and customer-focused assistance.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance, maintaining hazard registers, and delivering inductions and training for staff and students.
