Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora's Starship Child Health in Auckland is seeking a Developmental Paediatrician for a 0.4 FTE, permanent part-time role (16 hours per week). The appointee will join a dedicated developmental team providing whānau-centred care and will participate in teaching and potential clinical research.

The successful candidate will hold FRACP or an equivalent specialty qualification and be eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Qualifications

• FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification.
• Experience in tertiary developmental paediatric care.
• Eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality clinical care within Starship Child Health.
• Participate in teaching and training activities.
• Contribute to clinical research and collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Auckland.
