Job summary

Health NZ Counties Manukau invites applications for a Developmental Coordinator in the Kidz First Ambulatory Care team at Manukau Health Park. This is a part-time 0.6 FTE role, Monday to Friday, focused on supporting tamariki and whānau to thrive through coordinated developmental care.

Qualifications

NZ Registered Nurse with Annual Practising Certificate (APC) is required.
5+ years post-registration experience in NZ.
Recent knowledge in child development.
Experience in care coordination.
Clean NZ driver's licence is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate developmental care by gathering information from multiple agencies and supporting diagnostic and intervention processes.
Support whaanau to understand referral pathways, participate in planning, and maintain their child’s developmental plan.
Facilitate multidisciplinary care, including scheduling assessments and liaising with providers.
Contribute to service quality through audits, feedback, and policy development.
Build partnerships with community organisations and education providers.
