Job summary

NZ Defence Force is seeking a Customer Experience Representative to support personnel with essential shared services and Non-Public Funds administration. You will process payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records while delivering high-quality customer service.

The role involves collaboration across units and onsite support at Linton Military Camp, with opportunities to develop financial administration capability.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and administration experience.
• Experience processing payments, financial transactions, or account reconciliations.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven interpersonal skills, with an ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
• An ability to self-manage and prioritise competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Support NZDF personnel through delivery of essential shared services.
• Contribute to effective management of Non-Public Funds administrations, reconciliations and payment processing.
• Provide timely, accurate, customer-centred support across units and stakeholders.
• Ensure financial transactions are processed correctly and accounts reconciled.
• Maintain records to a high standard to support financial stewardship and service delivery outcomes.
• Work as part of the Defence Shared Services Group and contribute to onsite, tailored support at Linton Military Camp.
