Job summary

Perpetual Guardian is seeking a Client Manager in Nelson for a permanent, part-time role of 20 hours per week. You will manage a profitable client base, provide expert advice on wills, trusts, and estate planning, and promote our services to existing and prospective clients.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will work with a Client Assistant to deliver service excellence, build relationships, and identify opportunities to grow revenues while maintaining compliance and professional standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relationship/account management in a professional services environment.
• Interest in Estate Planning or Financial Services.
• Strong judgement and decision making.
• Adaptable with a growth mindset and innovative thinking.
• Well organized with ability to prioritise tasks.
• Enthusiastic, motivated to grow revenue.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely advice on Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning.
• Manage end-to-end service delivery; administer Estates and Trusts.
• Achieve revenue and operating profit targets.
• Identify opportunities to generate new business and revenue.
• Coach and mentor team members for development and growth.
• Grow the business sustainably within compliance.
