Job summary

Presbyterian Support Otago’s Enliven homes in Alexandra are seeking a part-time housekeeper to maintain a clean, healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors. You will dust, clean, mop floors and tidy resident bedrooms, showers and toilets as part of a busy care home team.

Hours are 24 hours per week across two weeks schedule: Week one 08:30–15:00 on Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; Week two 08:30–15:00 on Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri. Full orientation provided; training offered to support personal growth.

Qualifications

• Able to work unsupervised.
• Honest and reliable.
• Good work ethic.
• Able to apply common sense and use your initiative.
• Have time management skills and able to respond changing circumstances.
• Enjoy working with a busy team supporting older people.
• Must be fit and able.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident bedrooms, showers and toilets.
• Perform housekeeping tasks across the facility including dusting, cleaning and mopping.
• Support a clean and healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors.
