Job summary

Presbyterian Support Otago’s Enliven homes in Alexandra are seeking a part-time housekeeper to maintain a clean, healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors. You will dust, clean, mop floors and tidy resident bedrooms, showers and toilets as part of a busy care home team.

Hours are 24 hours per week across two weeks schedule: Week one 08:30–15:00 on Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; Week two 08:30–15:00 on Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri. Full orientation provided; training offered to support personal growth.

Qualifications

• Able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

Join our housekeeping team at Ranui and Castlewood.

The Role

Housekeepers in Enliven homes don't only dust, clean and mop floors, they play a vital role in the smooth running of a care home and provide a clean and healthy environment for our residents, staff, volunteers and visitors. This work involves a range of housekeeping and cleaning activities throughout the facility, including cleaning resident bedrooms, showers and toilets.Experience cleaning in a residential facility / commercial environment/knowledge of Housekeeping will be an added advantage. However, a full orientation will be given.

Hours: Permanent, part-time. 24 hours per week to be worked

• Week one: 0830-1500hrs (6hrs/day) on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Week two: 0830-1500hrs (6hrs/day) on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
