Job summary

Presbyterian Support Otago seeks a casual Housekeeper for Ross Home in Dunedin. The role involves cleaning, dusting and maintaining resident areas to support a safe, hygienic care environment. Orientation will be provided, and hours are on an as-needed basis, 8:30 am–2:30 pm, seven days a week.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work unsupervised and enjoy contributing to a busy team caring for older people. Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised in a busy care home.
• Honest and reliable with a good work ethic.
• Time management skills and initiative to adapt to changing needs.
• Comfort working in a team supporting older people.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, cleaning and mopping floors throughout the facility.
• Clean resident bedrooms, showers and toilets to maintain hygiene.
• Provide a clean and healthy environment for residents, staff, volunteers and visitors.
• Follow a full orientation and standard housekeeping procedures.
