Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a part-time Butchery team member for the PAKn’SAVE Hastings store. You will help keep the meat case fully stocked, neatly presented, and clean, while assisting customers as needed.

Hours are Sundays and Mondays from 6:00am to 2:30pm (16 hours per week). Training will be provided to cover pricing, merchandising, packaging, and safe handling of meat products, with future opportunities to broaden skills in butchery.

Responsibilities

• Pricing meat – chilled and frozen product
• Restocking/merchandising from racks made up by butchers and packers throughout the day
• Clean from a schedule
• Packing and pricing small goods (sausages)
• Opportunity to learn butchering techniques
