Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years' learner-facing or support service experience.
• Proven experience in administration support, coordination and planning.
• Ability to work with Māori, Pacific, and diverse communities.
• Familiarity with Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and locations.
• Confident with digital tools including MS Office and student management systems.
• Full NZ driver's licence and ability to travel across Tai Tokerau and attend events outside business hours.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa; pre-engagement checks including police vetting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating communication and information sharing between NorthTec and Otago Polytechnic teams.
• Supporting programme implementation and ongoing operational delivery.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with local iwi, Māori providers, and community stakeholders.
• Providing cultural guidance and support to programme staff.
• Coordinating facilities, resources, noho marae activities, and campus-based requirements.
• Supporting student access to campus services and facilities.
• Assisting with programme reporting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement activities.
• Acting as NorthTec's representative in programme liaison and advisory forums.
