Job summary

Wellington International Airport is seeking a part-time Parking Attendant to join our team. This fixed-term role covers Saturday and Sunday, 1:00pm to 9:00pm, 15 hours per week, with a pay rate of NZ$24.42 per hour. You will help manage parking, assist customers and keep the forecourt safe and welcoming.

Key qualities include excellent customer service, a positive work ethic, and the ability to work independently. A NZ driver’s license and basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage pick-up and drop-off areas to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with parking enquiries.
• Monitor and respond to unattended or illegally parked vehicles.
• Conduct routine inspections of car park and forecourt areas.
• Monitor taxi and app-based transport operations for compliance with airport policies.
• Assist with trolley collection and relocation as required.
• Report safety, security, maintenance, and operational issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all parking areas.
• Support airport operations and traffic management during peak periods and special events.
