Job summary

Queenstown Country Club Living Well Limited is seeking a part-time Painter to help maintain our retirement community facilities in Queenstown. You will contribute to the quality of life for residents by keeping buildings and equipment in good repair and ensuring safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates will have a full NZ driver's license, paint maintenance experience, and the ability to manage subcontractors while communicating clearly with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Must have Full NZ Driver's license.
• Experience in general paint maintenance of buildings and machinery.
• Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining good working relationships.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving abilities; able to work unsupervised.
• Empathy towards older New Zealanders and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the building and equipment in retirement communities.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and unplanned repairs.
• Prioritize health and safety for the team and residents.

With responsibility for planned preventative and unplanned maintenance, and a commitment to health and safety for our team members and residents, this is an ideal role for an experienced painter looking for something different.
