Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services in Gisborne is seeking a motivated and experienced Painter to join our growing team on residential and commercial projects across the Hawke's Bay region.

We welcome Trade Qualified Painters or experienced painters who can confidently work from plans and deliver quality workmanship on schedule. A current full driver’s licence, fitness for manual labour, and a strong safety mindset are essential; certifications such as Working at Heights or EWP are advantageous.

Programmed Maintenance Services – Gisborne, North Island

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Painter to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established company with a strong reputation and genuine career progression opportunities for the right candidate.

We are looking for either a Trade Qualified Painter or an experienced Painter who can confidently undertake a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout the Hawke's Bay region. To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of delivering quality workmanship while meeting project deadlines and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Skills and Experience

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Current full driver's licence
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour on a daily basis
• Ability to work efficiently from plans and within agreed project deadlines
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certifications are advantageous but not essential
• Experience using paint spraying equipment is preferred
• Abseiling experience or capability is highly desirable
• Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace health and safety practices
