Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Whanganui Hospital is seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join the Child Development Team on a permanent part-time basis (0.75FTE), Monday to Friday.

You will work with babies, toddlers and children to support tamariki and whānau, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and delivering hands-on clinical practice in a collaborative, whānau-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Paediatric Occupational Therapy experience working with babies, toddlers, and children.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative, whānau-centred approach to practice.
• An interest in quality improvement and service development.
• A current full NZ drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide paediatric occupational therapy services to babies, toddlers and children.
• Work with tamariki and whānau in the Child Development Service.
