Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau in Auckland is seeking a part-time Radiology IT Support specialist to help maintain the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and related imaging equipment. You will join the PACS Team handling day-to-day queries, troubleshooting, and user training to keep radiology services running smoothly.

The role offers up to 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Middlemore Hospital and Manukau

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of clinical radiology experience or 2–3 years of IT experience in a relevant environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good communication skills.
• Collaborative approach with staff across clinical and non-clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Support digital imaging equipment across the service and resolve day-to-day system queries.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide practical assistance, and train new users.
• Work with the PACS Team to keep radiology services running smoothly and efficiently.
