Job summary

IDX New Zealand is seeking a Group Applications Support Officer to join the RIS PACS team. This role focuses on supporting, maintaining, and improving the RIS PACS application environment across the group, working with clinicians, IT, and admin staff.

You will troubleshoot, coordinate with vendors, handle access, and assist with deployments and training. A background in IT support or systems administration within healthcare is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or applications support in healthcare or enterprise settings.
• Familiarity with RIS PACS workflows or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication with clinical, technical, and admin teams.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st/2nd level support for RIS PACS across IDX NZ.
• Troubleshoot software, system, and user issues promptly.
• Monitor performance and assist with maintenance and upgrades.
• Support integrations with clinical and business systems.
• Maintain documentation and user training materials.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to optimise systems.
