Job summary

3 Kings Cherries in Clyde, Central Otago, is seeking a Pack House Floor Supervisor for the cherry harvest. You will oversee the packing facility process from receiving fruit through to invoicing, working with the production team to ensure accurate records.

The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays if required. Knowledge of Xero or similar software is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Oversee the process from receiving fruit to packing and invoicing.
• Ensure scanning is active to keep accurate packaging records.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and hygiene standards.
• Capture daily throughput and waste data for invoicing.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
• Be flexible to work weekends and holidays when required.
• Knowledge of Xero or ABC software is an advantage.

Job description

Located in Clyde, Central Otago, for the Cherry harvest 3Kings Cherries are looking for a Pack House Floor Supervisor for the duration of the Cherry Harvest.Job DescriptionA diligent and motivated person to oversee the process of fruit through the packing facility. Working alongside the production team from the start to transportation.

• Monitor process operation from fruit received to site from suppliers.
• Ensure scanning has been activated to maintain accurate record keeping for the entire packaging process.
• Work with the packaging department to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations for quality, safety, and hygiene.
• Work alongside Pack House Management to ensure accurate data is captured of daily fruit throughput and waste is recorded for accuracy in Invoicing.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
