Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee packaging line activities ensuring optimal efficiency in filling, labelling and shipping processes.
• Implement and monitor quality control protocols; conduct regular inspections to maintain standards.
• Manage packaging stock and consumables; ensure resource optimisation.
• Uphold brand image and values through consistent packaging standards.
• Foster open communication and collaboration within the team; work independently when required.
• Ensure compliance with OHS regulations, including safe work procedures and incident reporting.
• Complete all QMS/ISO related actions for the packaging area.

Duties:

• Oversee packaging line activities, ensuring optimal efficiency in filling, labelling, and shipping processes
• Implement and monitor quality control protocols, conducting regular inspections to maintain standards
• Manage packaging stock and consumables efficiently, ensuring resource optimisation
• Uphold the company's brand image and values through consistent packaging standards

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, including safe work procedures, proper use of protective equipment and incident reporting
• Complete all Quality Management System (QMS) / ISO related actions for the packaging area

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in packaging supervision or a similar role
• Matric or equivalent
• Technical knowledge of packaging processes, batch sheets, labelling requirements, and manufacturing protocols.
