Job summary

The Fono is seeking a Family Harm Worker to join our Social Services team in Auckland. You will provide crisis intervention and practical support to Pacific families experiencing family harm, helping them access the right services and safety-focused options.

You will build strong relationships with families and partner agencies, document cases accurately and follow The Fono's care model while working in a culturally responsive, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in social services or related field.
• Ability to build trust with Pacific families.
• Comfort with crisis intervention and safety planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and practical support to Pacific families experiencing family harm.
• Identify needs and connect families to appropriate ongoing services.
• Coordinate with agencies and community organisations.
• Maintain accurate case notes and reports.
• Work in line with The Fono policies and model of care.
