Job summary

Seafort Holdings LTD is seeking Oyster Processing Workers for a full-time outdoor pop-up stall in Queenstown. The role involves processing, packing, stock transport, and customer service across 30–50 hours per week.

You’ll work independently at the stall, ensure quality standards, handle sales, and maintain stall appearance with training provided. No oyster experience required, and a full driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a full driver’s license.
• Able to lift heavy items (stock & equipment).
• Friendly, outgoing and honest personality.
• Great with people and proactive.
• No oyster experience needed; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Processing and packing fresh oysters ensuring every product meets quality standards.
• Transporting, loading and unloading oysters from Airport to Sales Point according to New Zealand Seafood Health Safety Requirements.
• Handling, washing, bathing oysters in brine and displaying according to RMP (Risk Management Programme).
• Loading, unloading and installing equipment and tools for the outdoor Pop-Up Oyster Stall.
• Ensure all duties are conducted in line with current H&S standards.
• Serving and assisting customers, processing sales, money handling, managing inventory and maintaining stall appearance.

Oyster Processing Workers / Pop-up Oyster Stall Queenstown

This is a full-time (30-50 hours per week), long-term and all-seasons position working at our outdoor Pop-Up Oyster Stall. You’ll be processing and packing fresh oysters, transporting stock, serving customers, and managing all aspects of the stall operations. You’ll work independently while engaging with customers throughout the day.
