Job summary

Bay Yamaha in Papamoa is seeking a motivated Outboard Technician to join our tight-knit team. If you’re passionate about the marine sector and take pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences on the water, you’ll fit right in.

You’ll service and repair outboards across a range of vessels, perform maintenance and diagnostics, install engines and marine systems, and service trailer systems. A clean New Zealand driver’s licence and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the marine industry, specifically with outboards.
• Clean New Zealand driver's licence.
• Willingness to learn and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work on outboards across a range of vessels.
• Perform servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to ensure reliability.
• Install and upgrade engines and marine systems.
