Job summary

Christchurch Career Flow Limited, trading as NewZealand skills connect, seeks an OSCE Clinical Skills Tutor to plan and deliver an OSCE preparation programme online and in a Christchurch clinical skills lab. This is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 32 guaranteed hours per week.

Responsibilities include planning study programmes, online theory delivery, practical OSCE instruction, mock exams, feedback, content updates, and lab maintenance.

Qualifications

• A bachelor degree in nursing or higher.
• Minimum of two years of relevant teaching or supervising experience.
• Practical knowledge of NCNZ OSCE framework and station format.
• Current NZ nursing registration under OSCE framework.
• Availability Wednesday to Sunday, including evenings.
• Good communication and team-work abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop OSCE prep programmes for individuals and small groups.
• Deliver online theory sessions on OSCE syllabus and standards.
• Instruct and demonstrate OSCE clinical skills with proper equipment.
• Conduct one-to-one mock OSCE exams and assess performance.
• Provide feedback and remedial coaching as needed.
• Review and revise course content and materials as the syllabus evolves.
• Record attendance, progress and mock results; report outcomes.
• Maintain the clinical skills lab and ensure safe practice.
