Qualifications

• Vocationally registered in Orthopaedic Surgery with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
• FRACS or equivalent qualification and able to register with MCNZ.
• At least 2 years post graduate experience in Orthopaedic surgery.
• Subspecialty training in spine is desirable but not essential.
• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
• Able to provide consistently high standards of medical care.
• Relevant experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to orthopaedic patients across inpatient and outpatient services.
• Support and lead junior medical staff and participate in education with the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits and service development meetings.
• Foster constructive relationships within the team and maintain a professional, caring environment.
