The position of Orderly/Security Orderly is dynamic and multifaceted, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of hospital services. Responsibilities include the safe and efficient transportation of patients, medical records, equipment, and clinical waste to designated areas within the facility. This role requires exceptional customer service skills to interact professionally with both patients and staff, as well as the ability to adhere to strict timeframes and manage the physical demands inherent in the role. Previous experience in a healthcare setting or in a comparable position would be advantageous, as it would facilitate a smoother transition and a deeper understanding of the protocols and expectations associated with this vital position. This is a full-time position working on a rostered and rotating schedule across Monday to Friday. Shift start times rotate between 7:30am, 8:00am, and 4:00pm, providing variety and flexibility across the roster cycle. The salary range for this role is $60,840 - $68,473, depending on experience.
