About the Role
We are seeking reliable and motivated Casual Orderlies to join our team at Timaru Hospital.
As an Orderly, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of healthcare services across the hospital. Working closely with clinical and non-clinical teams, you will provide a professional and efficient support service that contributes to the smooth operation of hospital services and positive patient outcomes.
This is a varied and hands-on role that may include patient transfers, transporting equipment and supplies, delivering specimens, blood products and clinical items, assisting with stock and linen distribution, responding to service requests, and supporting departments across the organisation. You may also assist with security, mortuary, and general logistical support functions as required.
As a casual employee, you will provide cover on an as-needed basis and will need to be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts.

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the relevant collective agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the applicable pay scale and dependent on experience.
