Make a practical difference across a growing New Zealand fitness network WellFit Group is seeking a capable and relationship-focused Operations Support professional to support franchisees, club owners, club managers, and operational teams across our growing network of over 50 gyms in New Zealand.

Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, this is a hands‑on, multi‑site role that will help ensure our clubs operate safely, consistently and effectively while delivering a high-quality member experience.
You will act as a key operational link between WellFit Group, our franchise partners, and club teams. You will build trusted relationships, identify operational issues early and support clubs to implement practical solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building strong working relationships with franchisees, club owners and site managers.
Providing practical day-to-day operational support across Flex Fitness, NRG Health & Fitness and FLX Wellness.
Conducting regular club visits, operational reviews, audits and follow-up activities.
Supporting franchise compliance, brand standards, health and safety, presentation, cleanliness and member experience.
Assisting clubs with access systems, facilities, operational continuity and service disruptions.
Recording and following up incidents, complaints, compliance actions and agreed tasks.
Reviewing operational performance indicators and supporting practical business improvement plans.
Identifying recurring issues, avoidable costs and opportunities to improve consistency across the network.
Supporting new club openings, franchisee onboarding and the transition into stable day‑to‑day operations.
Coordinating with franchisees, contractors, suppliers, Marketing and internal stakeholders.
Delivering or assisting with franchise and club training.
Preparing clear regional updates for the Group Operations Manager.
Supporting approved group‑wide operational projects and initiatives.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the operation, working with business owners and ensuring that agreed actions are completed properly.
You will be a practical, organised and commercially minded professional who can build trust quickly while maintaining clear standards and accountability.
You will ideally bring experience across a number of the following areas:
Fitness, health, wellness or a related service industry.
Franchise or Multi‑site operations.
Customer or member experience.
Training, onboarding and operational implementation.
Business improvement and action planning.
Working with owners, managers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
