Job summary

Jetts New Zealand is seeking a Club Manager at our Whangaparāoa club on a 31 hour per week basis. You will lead a welcoming team, deliver a standout member experience and cultivate relationships with members and local businesses.

Your hours: Mondays 10am-7pm; Tue-Thu 12pm-7pm; Saturdays 8am-11am. Applicants must be NZ citizen/resident or on an open long term visa, hold First Aid with CPR/defib, and be self-motivated to work in a sole role.

Qualifications

• Must be NZ citizen, resident or on an open long term visa with no restrictions.
• First Aid Certificate incl. CPR and defib (NZQA 6401/6402) or willing to obtain.
• Able to thrive in a sole role with strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Drive exceptional member experience and build relationships with members and local businesses.
• Deliver new membership sales and member growth, reporting to Regional Performance Manager.
• Maintain a positive club culture and engage in events and promotions.
• Handle in-club operations, keep areas clean, and schedule repairs.

Jetts NZ are looking for a Club Manager at our Whangaparāoa club on a 31 hour per week basis, who is energetic, positive, and most importantly loves to create and maintain a friendly and welcoming club culture. With 52 clubs nationwide, you’ll be joining a dynamic, member-centric team that works hard, has fun along the way, and will support you to thrive in this sole role.

Your working hours are:

• Mondays: 10am-7pm
• Tuesday to Thursdays: 12pm-7pm
• Saturdays: 8am-11am

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Driving an exceptional member experience and building key stakeholder relationships with members and local businesses
• Delivering the agreed number of new membership sales and member growth on a regular basis, reporting to your Regional Performance Manager
• Maintaining a positive club culture with the members by engaging in key events and promotions
• Performing regular in-club operations tasks to ensure all areas are clean and hygienic, equipment and club repairs are updated and scheduled regularly

If you ...

• are a NZ citizen, resident or on an open long term work visa without restrictions,
• hold a current First Aid Certificate including CPR and defib (NZQA unit standards 6401 and 6402) or are happy to obtain one,
• are self-motivated and self-disciplined to thrive in a sole role,
• have excellent customer service skills and ideally B2B sales experience,
• love engaging people and have a positive can-do-attitude,
• want to work 31 hours per week, Monday to Saturday with Fridays and Sundays off, and have a keen interest in the health & fitness industry
