Job summary

Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers is seeking an experienced Dunedin Operations Manager to lead the Dunedin Distribution Centre, overseeing four direct reports and roughly 90 team members across inbound and outbound functions.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will own site performance, drive safety, service, productivity and cost outcomes, and develop leadership capability while partnering with the wider Supply Chain and business teams.

Job description

As our Dunedin Operations Manager, you'll lead the Dunedin Distribution Centre with responsibility for four direct reports and approximately 90 team members across inbound and outbound functions. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll have overall accountability for site performance, ensuring the operation delivers consistently across safety, service, productivity and cost measures.

Leading through your team, you'll create an environment where people can perform at their best while building leadership capability, strengthening succession and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Working as part of the wider Supply Chain leadership team, you'll help shape priorities that support both the ongoing success of the site and the evolving needs of our stores and business.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the overall performance of the Dunedin Distribution Centre.

About you:

You're an experienced site or operations leader who understands what it takes to lead a complex operation while developing the capability of those around you. You'll combine strong operational discipline with a practical leadership style, using data, insight and sound judgement to drive performance and continuous improvement.

You’ll also bring:
