Tranzit Group in Taupō, NZ, is seeking an Operations Assistant to support day-to-day operations and admin across urban and school services. The role includes driving a school run during term time with a minimum of 70 hours per fortnight in term and 40 hours per fortnight in school holidays.

You will work with the Operations Manager and Central team, handling operational tasks, reporting, and safety compliance while contributing to a hands-on, supportive work environment.

Formación

• Proven experience in delivering quality customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to adapt as operational priorities change.
• Comfort with learning new systems and technology.
• Current Class 2 or 4 driver’s licence and Passenger Endorsement, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in the transport industry is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with coordinating the urban and school transport network.
• Assist with customer quotes and pricing requests, providing timely and accurate responses.
• Support the Operations Manager with monitoring operational performance, service reliability and day-to-day delivery.
• Assist with preparing and coordinating operational reporting, including bus audits and vehicle fault reports.
• Support a proactive health and safety culture, including committee meetings and team compliance requirements.
• Provide operational and administrative support to the Operations Manager and wider team.
• Coordinate staff uniforms, stationery and other depot supplies.
