Job summary

Tranzit Group is seeking a School Bus/Charter driver to join our Wellington team from the Lower Hutt depot. The role covers a regular school run and charter work across the Wellington region, with a permanent part‑time basis.

Minimum 60 hours guaranteed per fortnight during school term and 10 hours in holidays, based at our Taita Depot, with full training provided. Applicants must hold a Class 2 licence, prefer Class 4 and an optional P Endorsement, and pass medical and police checks.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude, excellent communicator and enjoys talking to people.
• A safe and confident driver with a clean record
• Class 2 licence - Class 4 is a preferred
• A P Endorsement is preferred, but we can assist you to obtain this
• Ability to pass a medical and police check

Responsibilities

• School run and charter driving responsibilities within the Wellington region.
• Operate the school bus and charter services from the Lower Hutt/Taita depot.
• Drive a Class 2 Coach for school runs.
• Support community transport needs with reliable service.

Tranzit is a NZ family-owned transport and tourism company providing a variety of transport services across the Wellington region.

We are looking for a School Bus/Charter driver to join our Wellington team in supporting our community with this integral role. We have a permanet part time position based out of our Lower Hutt depot. The role will consist of a regualr school run and charter work across the Wellington region.

About The Role

• Minimum 60 hours guaranteed per fortnight during school term and minimum 10 hours guaranteed per fortnight during school holidays,
• Based out of our Taita Depot,
• School run will be carried out in a class 2 Coach,
• School bus and Charter driving services,

We Are Looking For
