Job summary

Red Hat is seeking an experienced Architect specializing in OpenShift to join our Auckland, New Zealand office. You will act as a solution lead for delivery teams, guiding discovery sessions and scoping cloud-native and containerised solutions, defining technical goals and execution tasks for successful projects.

You will blend hands-on delivery with customer expectation management, supporting pre-sales activities and contributing to Red Hat consulting practice growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Deep understanding of OpenShift, operators, and automation tools (GitOps, Pipelines, Service Mesh, Observability).
• Experience with scripting/automation (Ansible, Python, Perl, or Shell).
• Client-facing consulting or technical-architecture delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OpenShift and cloud-native solution implementations.
• Lead Discovery Sessions and define delivery approaches with pre-sales/sales teams.
• Explain architecture, container strategies, and enterprise Kubernetes designs to stakeholders.
