Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to design and guide technology solutions that power customer and operational experiences. You will work across squads and platforms to ensure robust, scalable architectures aligned to business goals.

You will collaborate with engineering, security and operations teams, driving secure, value-driven outcomes and raising architectural maturity through mentorship and pattern sharing.

Qualifications

• Strong integration experience with SaaS platforms.
• Experience designing integrations using APIs and event-driven patterns (e.g., Kafka).
• Ability to navigate unfamiliar domains and emerging tech.
• Work across software engineering, cyber security and operations.
• Holistic view of architecture impacting wider systems and business outcomes.
• Clear, purposeful communication and documentation.
