Job summary

Reliance Recruitment is seeking a practical, hands-on worker to join a niche door and window manufacturer based in Middleton. The role combines on-site installation with time in the factory, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and learning new trades.

You will install windows/doors, measure and plan for installations, liaise with customers and trades, and perform workshop duties. A full NZ driver’s licence and MOJ/drug test compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in window/door installation or carpentry preferred.
• Willing to learn and adapt to a variety of tasks.
• Hold a full NZ driver’s licence.

Job Description

A niche door and window manufacturer based in Middleton is looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our team.

This is a varied role that involves both on-site installation work and time in our factory, so we're looking for someone who enjoys practical work and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

Role includes

• Installing windows and doors on new builds and retrofit projects
• Measuring, planning and preparing for installations
• Liaising professionally with customers and other trades on site
• Factory-based assembly and general workshop duties
• Restocking and organising company vans and utes
• General hands-on work and supporting the wider team as required

About you

Ideally, you'll have experience in window or door installation, carpentry, or as a hammer hand. We're also happy to consider someone with strong practical and transferable building/trade skills who is keen to learn.

You will need to

• Have good practical/handyman skills and a willingness to learn
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Hold a full NZ driver's licence
• Be comfortable working both on construction sites and in a factory environment
• Pass a MOJ
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test

Hours

Monday to Friday, approximately 7:30am-4:30pm.

Some flexibility with start and finish times will be required depending on the day's work and site requirements.

Pay rate is $28-$32.00 (skill dependant)
