RTX Christchurch Engine Centre is seeking an onsite Mobile Diesel Fitter for mining maintenance projects. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility supporting tooling design and new engine type introductions, under guidance from repair operations leadership.

This role offers hands-on experience with safer, more efficient tooling and collaboration across operations, engineering and EHS teams, ideal for students or technicians seeking industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused fitter with willingness to learn
• Experience with heavy equipment maintenance preferred

Responsabilités

• Assist in the design of safer, more efficient tooling under end-user guidance
• Support new engine type repairs and introductions including onboarding of required materials and plant requirements
