We are seeking an engineering student in need of industry experience to support internal repair operations team during the summer of . Fixed term ~ 6 months.

Working under the guidance of repair operations leadership, the role will be in support of the following project work.

Tooling:

• Support the design of safer more efficient tooling under the guidance of end users.
• Presenting design justifications through tooling engineers for approval process
• Review and iterate legacy tooling for process improvements.
• Loom board designs for electrical harness repairs.
• Smart mask designs for thermal spray operations.

New Engine Type Introduction Support:

• Working with Operations, Eng & EHS teams to support project work on the following:
• Review technical requirements for new engine type repairs (required chemicals and consumable materials onboarding)
• Plant and facility requirements
• Tooling - iterate/ improve
• Product flow - Tooling to facilitate the movement of larger parts.
