Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is seeking an Online Physics Teacher to deliver Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 curricula to Years 9-13 students. This full-time, permanent role is remote from anywhere in New Zealand, with a focus on wellbeing and personalised support.

You'll design engaging, differentiated learning experiences, build strong relationships in a virtual setting, and collaborate with a high-caliber team of educators to advance student progress and assessment aligned to curriculum

Qualifications

• NZ Teaching Registration is required.
• Qualifications in teaching Physics.
• Strong knowledge of NCEA Levels 2-3.
• IGCSE teaching experience desired.
• Experience with online or blended learning.
• Familiarity with educational technology and AI platforms.

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, pioneering accessible, world-class education for students in Years 9-13 across all of Aotearoa. We combine international (Pearson Edexcel pre-IGCSE and IGCSE) and national (NCEA Levels 2 and 3) curricula with a flexible, virtual learning model that prioritises wellbeing, belonging, and personalised support.

The opportunity

Teach engaging Physics through live virtual classrooms to Years 9-13 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.
