Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy, New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, seeks an Online Physics Teacher for Years 9–13. This full-time, permanent role is fully remote from anywhere in New Zealand, teaching Pre-IGCSE to NCEA Levels 2-3 and supporting a connected learning community.

You will design learning experiences, build relationships in a virtual setting, and collaborate with a high-calibre team to drive student progress and provide feedback aligned to curriculum goals.

Qualifications

• NZ Teaching Registration is required.
• Physics teaching qualification and subject expertise.
• Strong knowledge of the NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3).
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with digital technology.
• IGCSE teaching experience desirable.
• Online or blended learning experience required.
• Familiarity with educational technology and AI platforms.

The opportunity

Teach engaging Physics through live virtual classrooms to Years 9-13 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.
