Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE and NCEA Levels 2-3 from anywhere in New Zealand. You will teach Mathematics and statistics to Years 9-12 in live virtual classrooms, designing personalised learning experiences while building a connected, supportive learning community.

The role is fully remote with a collaborative, high-calibre team of educators focused on wellbeing and excellence, and close partnerships with parents

Qualifications

• NZ Teaching Registration is required.
• Mathematics teaching qualification and subject expertise.
• Strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3).
• IGCSE teaching experience.
• Online or blended learning experience.
• Familiarity with educational technology and AI platforms.

We combine international (Pearson Edexcel pre-IGCSE and IGCSE) and national (NCEA Levels 2 and 3) curricula with a flexible, virtual learning model that prioritises wellbeing, belonging, and personalised support.

The opportunity

Teach engaging mathematics through live virtual classrooms to Years 9-12 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE and NCEA Levels 2-3 curriculum.
