Yoobee Colleges is seeking an enthusiastic Online Tutor to deliver Introduction to Artificial Intelligence to ākonga across New Zealand. This 16-week programme leads to the NZ Certificate in Study and Employment Pathways (Level 4) and is taught through our online campus.

You will facilitate learning remotely, guiding learners through AI concepts, Python basics and data topics, with a focus on ethical and culturally grounded practice. The role is full‑time, permanent and remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience in AI, data, software development or related tech.
• Experience with generative AI tools and introductory Python.
• Ability to explain AI concepts clearly to learners.
• Strong written communication and online engagement.
• Teaching, tutoring or learner support experience preferred.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive teaching.
• Commitment to ethical, responsible and human-centred AI.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate online learning using LMS and digital tools.
• Support learners to explore and evaluate generative AI tools and outputs.
• Provide clear, timely feedback on assessments.
• Monitor learner engagement and provide extra guidance.
• Help learners reflect on strengths and plan study or career paths.
• Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to course delivery improvements.
