Job summary

Liebherr Earthmoving Division is seeking an experienced technician based in Tauranga to maintain and repair a broad range of our earthmoving equipment, including wheel loaders, material handlers and excavators.

You will diagnose faults, perform major and minor services, carry out maintenance and component replacements, and complete service reporting and manufacturer documentation while expanding strong customer relationships in the field. Safety first at all times.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification and at least 1 year relevant work experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills and fault-finding ability.
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work overtime as required.
• A current driver’s license.
• Forklift and Air conditioning accreditation advantageous.
• Basic Word and Excel abilities.
• Commitment to safety guidelines in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems.
• Major and minor services.
• Maintenance and component replacements.
• Fabrication and new machine build as required.
• Complete service reporting and manufacturers documentation.
• Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field.
• Dealing directly with Key Customers.
• Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace.
