Job summary
Ravensdown Feilding Store is seeking an energetic Agri Manager who acts as a trusted advisor to farmers, helping improve soil, pasture, crops and animals while promoting sustainable practices.
You’ll spend most days on farm, building relationships, delivering tailored solutions, and reaching regional dairy and cropping clients. Strong communication, farming knowledge, and NZ environmental policy awareness are essential.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience engaging with customers and driving sales growth.
- Solid knowledge of farming systems and soil fertility.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability.
- Awareness of NZ environmental policies and their impact on farming.
- Tech-savvy with experience in agricultural technology systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build strong partnerships with farmers and deliver solutions that drive success.
- Plan and conduct customer visits to hit sales targets while providing expert advice.
- Leverage agricultural technology to improve profitability and environmental stewardship.
- Develop strategies to reduce environmental impact and optimise land value.
