Job summary

Ravensdown Feilding Store is seeking an energetic Agri Manager who acts as a trusted advisor to farmers, helping improve soil, pasture, crops and animals while promoting sustainable practices.

You’ll spend most days on farm, building relationships, delivering tailored solutions, and reaching regional dairy and cropping clients. Strong communication, farming knowledge, and NZ environmental policy awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience engaging with customers and driving sales growth.
• Solid knowledge of farming systems and soil fertility.
• Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability.
• Awareness of NZ environmental policies and their impact on farming.
• Tech-savvy with experience in agricultural technology systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field preferred.

As an Agri Manager, you’ll be a trusted advisor to farmers, helping them get the best from their soil, pasture, crops, and animals while guiding them towards environmentally sustainable practices. You’ll play a vital role in reducing environmental impacts and unlocking value from the land through expert nutrient advice, innovative services, and top-quality products.

This is a role where every day counts – you’ll spend most of your time on farm, building strong relationships, identifying needs, and delivering tailored solutions that make a real difference. Your region will cover predominantly dairy and cropping with some sheep and beef customers across the region.
