Job summary

The Ministry of Justice seeks an experienced organisational development leader to connect strategic thinking with practical delivery. You will influence senior leaders and lead an OD programme that supports the Ministry's priorities, strengthening leadership, embedding coaching, and improving employee experience.

You will guide a four-person team and contribute to the People Experience agenda to deliver tangible outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience diagnosing organisational needs and leading design, delivery and evaluation of OD strategies.
Expertise in leadership development, coaching and employee/talent development.
Ability to use research, workforce data and insights to identify priorities and assess impact.
Proven ability to lead and develop a specialist team and translate strategy into action.
Ability to build relationships with senior leaders and translate strategy into practical action.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and refresh of the Ministry's People Strategy and associated sub-strategies.
Strengthen the Ministry's leadership system, connecting expectations, development and practice.
Advance coaching and development approaches to support leaders and staff.
Enhance employee experience and data, turning insights into action.
Shape emerging talent work in line with priorities and needs.
Guide the team to design and deliver evidence-informed OD work with outcomes.
Lead and develop a high-performing team and build credibility through impact.
Influence senior leaders through coaching and strategic advice.
