Job summary

Habit Health in Dunedin is seeking a Registered Nurse with extensive Occupational Health experience to deliver high-quality health services across client sites in the region.

You will conduct assessments, maintain documentation, travel as required, and work within a multidisciplinary team to promote workplace health and safety.

The role includes use of clinical systems, annual APC, and a supportive culture with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NZ APC and occupational health nursing experience.

Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a nursing professional who can bring their experience to an Occupational Health Nurse role based out of our Dunedin clinic. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality occupational health services to a wide range of clients and contribute to smooth, efficient service delivery. Your nursing assessment skills, clinical judgement and proactive communication will help organisations keep their people healthy, safe and supported at work. This is an exciting and varied role where there will be opportunities for you to work on contracts in social rehab, concussion and vocational rehab.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel around the region.

Main Responsibilities

• Build strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate

• Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health nursingExcellent communication, organisation and time-management skills
• Professional, proactive and solution-focused approach
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (Privacy, H&S, health information)
• Confidence using clinical systems and digital tools
• Valid NZ drivers license
