Job summary

Habit Health in Blenheim is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to deliver high-quality assessments and workplace health services. The role involves travel around the region and may be part-time or full-time, depending on contracts.

You will maintain documentation, manage scheduling and equipment, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. A NZ annual practising certificate and 5+ years in occupational health are preferred, with a collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NZ Annual Practising Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health nursing.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel around the region, with a valid NZ driver’s license.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a nursing professional who can bring their experience to an Occupational Health Nurse role based out of our Blenheim clinic. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality occupational health services to a wide range of clients and contribute to smooth, efficient service delivery. Your nursing assessment skills, clinical judgement and proactive communication will help organisations keep their people healthy, safe and supported at work. This is an exciting and varied role where there will be opportunities for you to work on contracts in social rehab, concussion and vocational rehab. This opportunity can be part time or full time.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel around the region.

The Ideal Candidate

• Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health nursing
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills
• Professional, proactive and solution-focused approach
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (Privacy, H&S, health information)
• Confidence using clinical systems and digital tools
• Valid NZ drivers license
