Habit Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to deliver clinical assessments and support employees across the Canterbury region from our Addington clinic. You will travel around the region to support corporate clients and health programs, using your nursing expertise to promote health and safety in the workplace.

The ideal candidate holds a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate with at least 5 years in occupational health, strong communication, and a proactive,

• Registered Nurse with current NZ APC.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health nursing.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of Privacy, H&S and health information legislation.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a nursing professional who can bring their experience to an Occupational Health Nurse role based out of our Addington clinic. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality occupational health services to a wide range of clients and contribute to smooth, efficient service delivery. Your nursing assessment skills, clinical judgement and proactive communication will help organisations keep their people healthy, safe and supported at work. This is an exciting and varied role where there will be opportunities for you to work on contracts in social rehab, concussion and vocational rehab. This opportunity can be part time or full time.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel around the region.

The Ideal Candidate

• Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health nursing
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills
• Professional, proactive and solution-focused approach
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (Privacy, H&S, health information)
• Confidence using clinical systems and digital tools
• Valid NZ drivers license
