Job summary

Habit Health seeks a skilled Occupational Health Nurse to deliver high-quality assessments at our Timaru clinic. Travel around the region is expected to support clients and maintain service delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in occupational health nursing, NZ APC, and strong communication and organisation skills to thrive in a collaborative team and dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health nursing
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills
• Professional, proactive and solution-focused approach
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical occupational health assessments and provide clear feedback to clients
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting
• Manage equipment, scheduling and patient management systems efficiently
• Build strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders

We have a fantastic opportunity for a nursing professional who can bring their experience to an Occupational Health Nurse role based out of our Timaru clinic.In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality occupational health services to a wide range of clients and contribute to smooth, efficient service delivery. Your nursing assessment skills, clinical judgement and proactive communication will help organisations keep their people healthy, safe and supported at work. This is an exciting and varied role where there will be opportunities for you to work on contracts in social rehab, concussion and vocational rehab. This opportunity can be part time or full time.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel around the region.

Main responsibilities
